2021-22 Boca Juniors home shirts have been unveiled on the eve of 40th anniversary of 1981 Torneo Metropolitano victory. Many followers and fanatic were impressed with performances of Xeneizes in that season. Taking inspirations from the classic jersey of 1981, the brand-new Boca Juniors are popular among supporters, collectors and football fans from across the world.
The predominantly royal blue home strip is adorned with the signature horizontal bar on the chest, whilst Adidas logo and abbreviation of the club CABJ sit on the right and left chest correspondingly. Numbers on the back are white and in the same font of 1981. The integral kit also features blue shorts and yellow socks, which is similar to what they have worn in 1981.
Both player edition and fan edition are equipped with Adidas Heat Dry and Aeroready technology, promoting evaporation of sweat and keeping player free and cool at football matches.
In addition, Adidas have launched a selection of Teamgist to memorize highlights of the team in its history. The Boca Juniors 2022 Teamgeist shirt is predominantly white with blue and yellow detailing. Based on the iconic 2006 World Cup template, the blue Adidas logo sits centrally on the chest, while the club crest offset to the left.
